Training questions, answered

The things people ask us most often before they book.

Is my dog too old to train?
Almost certainly not. We train puppies, adult dogs and seniors. Older dogs often learn quickly because they settle and focus more easily than puppies. If your dog has physical limitations, tell us and we will adapt.
How many sessions will we need?
It depends on your dog and your goals. Many families see a real difference within a few sessions for a single behavior. Broader goals take longer. Your trainer will give you an honest estimate after meeting your dog, and you are never locked in.
Can you help with a dog that has bitten or shown aggression?
Please call us rather than booking online. Cases involving biting, resource guarding or reactivity need a conversation first so we can put the right trainer and the right setting in place, safely.
Can my family take part?
Yes, and we encourage it. Dogs respond best when everyone at home is consistent. Private sessions are built around your household, and children are welcome with supervision.
What should I bring to the first session?
A flat collar or harness, a standard leash, your dog's favourite treats, and current vaccination records. That is all. Leave retractable leashes at home.
What if we need to reschedule?
Life happens. Give us a call and we will move your appointment. There is no charge to reschedule with reasonable notice.

Would you rather talk to someone?

Our team can help you pick the right program and get you booked in, over the phone. If your dog has a serious behavior concern, this is the best place to start.
